Frankie T. & The Triple B have released their first EP titled ‘Matters Of The Heart,’ a footstompin’ compilation that could wake the ghost of James Brown. It is a funk, rock, and blues journey through the trials and tribulations of relationships and the ever-present divide between the sexes. Frankie’s music speaks from the heart but emotes with growling guitar and infectious grooves.
Recorded at Michael Head’s Cabeza Records, this EP is laced with stellar performances from some of San Diego’s finest musicians; Frank Tranfaglia on guitar and vocals, Travis Klein on tenor saxophone, Abram Majors on drums, Jacob “Cubby” Miranda on bass, Wili Fleming on trombone, and Tim Felten on B3 and Wurlitzer Organs.
You can catch Frankie T. & The Triple B monthly at San Diego’s premier speakeasy, Prohibition Lounge, in the heart of the Gaslamp along with other music focused venues and street fairs throughout San Diego.
