Anthony Cullins Featured Artist for Vola at NAMM 2019

If you’re heading to Anaheim, California for National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show this year, better go by the Vola Guitar Booth, Level 1, Hall D, #4334.  Our good friend, 18 year old, Anthony Cullins will be featured larger than life on the booth wall and will also give guitar demonstrations 11am on Friday and 2pm on Saturday.

Greg Leinhard is a Vola Guitar representative in Escondido, California and was at the Dallas International Guitar Festival when he heard about Anthony’s performance while he was there.  “I didn’t get to see him then,” said Lienhard, “but the buzz got back to my booth there about this kid called the ‘Fallbrook Kid.’ Since I live near Fallbrook, I thought I should go check him out when I got home.”

Greg did get out to see Anthony perform at The Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, California and was immediately taken by Anthony’s style of guitar playing.  “He doesn’t try to come off as a shredder, as so many young guitar players try to do,” he said, “Anthony’s playing is more refined and controlled, like a professional guitar player.”

Yes, Anthony has “Old Soul” skills.  Maybe it’s from playing with all the master musicians in the San Diego area.  Anthony has been playing on stage with many skilled musicians since he was thirteen years old and he’s performed with band mates three or four times his age.

With a humble yearning to learn and willingness to follow examples from industry peers, Anthony has gained much respect in this industry and in this, his fifth trip to Anaheim, he is now is taking his place in the halls of NAMM.
